Legal Question in Employment Law in California

we were hired as subcontractors by someone DBA A-Z Property Preservation LLC.

we completed some 30 work orders, in approx 31 days, with the understanding that the bank would begin paying in 3-4 weeks. We still have not received payment, and the mortgage co says they already paid those work orders...Do we have any legal recourse?

Of course, you get to enforce your lien rights and sue just like anybody else with a claim of debt. Hope you followed the lien laws to protect your interest in the property. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me.
