Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Is it illegal to tell all employees that they are laid off, tell everyone the firm is having legal problems, give each and every employee their final paycheck, say goodbye.. only to learn shortly afterward, that two of the employees in that same group were secretly kept and are still there working?
