Legal Question in Employment Law in California

i was injured 4-2-09 i returned to work light duty and in another dept. i had 2 write ups in 2 yrs. 1-31-09 and 4-1 or 2-09.1.31.09 itook 1 week susp. no pay.after i was moved to diff. dept mngr. talk was i was taking 40 hrs. out of another dept. that hurt there hours. i worked till 4-11-09sent home to wait for meeting.4-14-09meeting and fired for write ups. why wasnt i fired then the manager had ability to also spoke with one who fired me on a daily basis. so i feel they tried to find away out i get no workscomp pay was award unemply. but they are taking it to appeals for payback and to be stopped.what do i do they also edit out overtime everyday and we always had atleast 15min,up to 1hr. or more and union dues paid no real union.
