Injury from robbery at work

While at work my mom was injuried,hold at gun point and was robbied. Mentally she is a mess and is affrid to even be alone now. But her boss is demanding her to come back to work. she was only given one day off. Is there somekind of law or code that has to do with empolees being robbied

she can file a Workers Comp case with a doctor's disability opinion.

Your mom has a very good case...she can file under worker's comp or against the employer's Commercial general liability policy.

if your wife is covered thru a worker's compensation program thru her employer, she should be entitled to a "stress-related leave of absence" under the circumstances you outlined in your question. she definitely should not be pressured to go back to work. if you email me with more specific details to her situation and boss' demands, i may be able to offer further legal assistance and/or representation in this matter.
