Legal Question in Employment Law in California
My job offer is listing an annual compensation without mentioning pay time schedule and an according compensation for a pay period. Offer was made in Dec. 2008. In the case of a layoff, what is my minimum exit compensation?

Whatever you negotiate, or they decide. Unless you have a written contract or company policy that specifically defines layoff pay, there is no obligation to you other than to be paid for work done.
