My name is Jooyeon Choi and need to find an Employment Attorney who can represent my case.
I was an employee of Hanmi Bank for about 6 years beginning from April of 2006 until I was let go by the management on December 2, 2011. Their reason for terminating me was my poor marketing performance. I believe that this is a Wrongful Termination because I was not given the same opportunity among managers even after all those years of self sacrifices without getting overtime pays and almost endangering my marriage. I was a branch manager at Beverly Hills branch at the time of termination.
During my employment at this bank, I experienced a disparate discrimination, hostile work environment, and unfairness from the management.

Do you have evidence that you were treated hostilely and differently based on race, gender, national origin, or other protected classification? Or was it just a personal thing against you? Unfortunately there is no law against unfairness, discrimination and hostility in the work place unless it is based on discrimination against you because you belong to a protected classification.
Not only are there no laws against poor management, 'unfair treatment', or rude and obnoxious behavior, but in general unless an employee is civil service, in a union, or has a written employment contract, they are an 'at will' employee that can be disciplined or fired any time for any reason, with or without �cause�, explanation or notice. That is, UNLESS it is based upon discrimination, harassment or retaliation as defined as actually �illegal� under the ADA [disability], Civil Rights [age, race, sex, ethnic, religion, pregnancy, etc], FMLA [medical leave], Whistle-blower, or similar statutes. Any employee's goal should be to keep their supervisors happy and make them look good to the company, and make the company money. That�s how the company pays employee wages.
