Legal Question in Employment Law in California
If, on June 11, I give 2 weeks notice to my employer advising them that my last day is June 22, and they release me on June 12, am I entitled to regular pay or unemployment? This scenario is in the state of California.

The employer only has to pay for days worked. If you worked through June 12, the only have to pay through June 12, unless there is a contract which requires you to provide 2 weeks notice. Being courteous does not require the employer to pay 2 weeks in lieu of notice.

They will dispute your unemployment since you quit, they just accepted your resignation earlier than you wanted.
