Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Labor Law

If, one has been working 100% commission as a loan officer but is forced to work a schedule, forced to go to open houses, meetings in and out of office by the management, eventhough he is not paid hourly, .....is this LEGAL? In addition the manager of the bank is threatening to fire you if you don't show up for work, eventhough you are not paid hourly and are supposed to not have set hours ?

Yes, you may have a claim. If you're serious, file with the Labor Commissioner; they are the horse's mouth on the issue.
