Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I am being laid off in a few weeks. My employer added an extra digit to the severance amount in my termination letter, which I have already signed and returned. Are they required to pay the amount specified in the letter?

If it was a typographical error, which you seem to acknowledge it was, then, no it is not enforceable as a contract.

Come on. NO. No more than if they issued you a payroll check with an extra '0' could you keep it. You'd have to pay it back or face civil and criminal charges.
