Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Can my landlord and also my employer increase ny rent for $200 more in retaliation for my decision to quit work for my quest for higher education. Also, they have failed to reimburse me of utility payment for the past 10 years which they she acknowlegde in writing.

If employed at an apartment complex, getting discounted rent as part of your compensation, then of course they can cancel that discount if you terminate, and resume full price rent.

IF you have credible evidence you are due reimbursement for utilities or other amounts, then you could file a small claims case if that is less than $7500 due you.
