Whether you have a claim depends on whether or not you were truly exempt as a matter of law. How were you paid? What were your duties? Were you truly a manager, or was this just a way for your employer to avoid paying overtime?
My firm has experience in wage and hour class actions, and depending on the size of the company, we might be interested in your claim. If you wish to follow up, please call my office to arrange for a consultation.

If actually an exempt employee, then you are entitled to OT. File your claim with the Labor Commissioner.
