Non-payment of wages

My payday was last Thursday. I have still not received my paycheck..employer siting ''glitch'' in system. What are penalties for employer not paying on payday? This has created an enormous financial burden on my family, do we have any recourse?

Theoretically, you are entitled to interest until paid, plus a penalty. To get that you would have to file with the Labor Commissioner, and make big waves at work.
