Legal Question in Employment Law in California

odor at work

I recently started a job where I believe I am performing very well. after six weeks on the job the Human Resources Executive came into my office and said I had an odor problem that people ( or a person) complained about my body odor and perhaps I should shower , use deodorent etc. I was shocked and embarassed . I have never been told I had an odor problem before and most recently I worked in a hospital with physicains and patients and I never heard anyone say I have an odor problem .I am fastitidious about showering and I always use deodreant . What should I do? Can I be fired for this,I am still on probation

Re: odor at work

Sorry, but clean up or get fired. You are 'at will', take that to heart.
