what are the legal rights and responsibilities of a terminated employee who receives overpayment of wages via direct deposit subsequent to termination

Was this severance or compensation for unpaid wages, overtime, or perhaps accrued vacation or sick pay? see my website at www.californiawagelawyer.com for further resources. call me if you cant get answer to your question. if the company wants their overpayment, unless you give it to them, they would have to sue you to get it back.
