Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Overpayment-being sued

I recently filed a DLSE claim against my former employer for unpaid vacation. I lost the claim but now he is threatening to sue me because he claims he overpaid my vacation in 2001 and 2003. He says I have 1 week form today to pay him 1375.00 or he will sue me for that plus legal fees. Is the Statute of limitations expired on this? Can you tell me where I can find that statute so I can site it in a letter to him?

Re: Overpayment-being sued

He is way too late to make such claims, and they smell of 'retaliation' for your filing, which would be illegal for him to do. Feel free to contact me if interested in pursuing a case against him for illegal retaliation.
