Legal Question in Employment Law in California

hi my question is i've been working with my father for more then 17 years the first 3 or so years i was recieving a pay roll check and the 15 years it was cash and i also live with him and my that also works with him but he gets paid his money but when it comes down to paying me its he pays me what he whats to pay me its hard because if try to say some thing about it i end up loosing and at times he wants to throw me out of the house . I a heavy equitment operator for my father company he has money like last week i pick up this 10"x6'long sewer pipe and i heard my arm rip inside i know i have to go to the hospital i also know that there is no insurnce an i cant ask him so i just dont go what do you think i should do?

Either continue to put up with it, OR, if you want to receive your legal rights, then go file an injury claim with the Workers Comp board, and go file an unpaid wage claim with the Labor Commissioner office. You have to decide if you are willing to demand fair and legal treatment as an employee. If serious about getting legal help in this, feel free to contact me.
