Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was recently dismissed from my temp job for falsifying my time card. I have not been convicted of anything yet, but I was told I would have a chance of restitution. If I do not respond to their request in 24hrs, they will take legal action. What options do I have in this case?

What options? Negotiate a resolution, or potentially face civil or criminal charges, just like they said. However, simply paying their demand does not guarantee they will not take further legal action. Consult with or hire an attorney, unless you know how to effectively represent yourself in this. If you havent yet been arrested or sued, your attorney MAY be able to negotiate an actual civil compromise agreement with the company that will avoid legal action against you. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, feel free to contact me.
