Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I recently started working for a company of news paper, i have approximately 2 weeks working there. I got suspended with no reason on May 2nd and i received a call today may 2nd saying not to show up again. I asked for the reason of my suspension and they told me it was because i got many complaints. But my concern is that i was not responsible for the complaints, and i believe that it is unfair for me to be suspended for something that i didn't do. Can i sue the company?

No. An employer is free to make bad decisions and suspend or fire employees for them.
Anybody can sue anybody for anything. However, you won't win. Not only are there no laws against 'unfair treatment' or poor management, but in general, unless an employee is civil service, in a union, or has a written employment contract, they are an 'at will' employee that can be disciplined or fired any time for any reason, with or without cause, explanation or notice. The employee's goal should be to keep the employer happy and make the company money. Thats how they pay your wages.
