Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Reimbursement of expenses

How long does an ex-employer have to reimburse expenses incurred by the employee which were preapproved, which were expenses on behalf of the furtherance of the company's business, and which the employee put on his presonal credit card? In this case the employee, me, is voluntarily terminating employment. The employer is based in Minnesota, and the expenses were incurred while I worked for the employer in Minnesota, but I now live in California.

Re: Reimbursement of expenses

Sorry, but your question will have to be answered by a Minnesota attorney. If you were working in Minnesota and the company was in Minnesota, the employment law issues are covered entirely by Minnesota law.

If you can't get them to pay voluntarily, you will have to file a wage claim back there, with the appropriate agency, or in small claims court.
