Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Retaliation and Harassment

A recent (~5-month) organizational change has me reporting to a new supervisor. The new supervisor and I have always had a good working relationship until recently. The org change also changed who reported to me, and soon after I started my (getting to know you) meetings I was bombarded with complaints of harassment, and other unethical and illegal allegations regarding my new supervisor. I took the allegations to HR for them to investigate. Well, not surprisingly my new supervisor found out that I was the one that informed HR, and he has started to retaliate against me. The most recent attack was verbal harassment for almost 1 hour. I have been seeing a physiatrist for several months to help me deal with the stress and physical health problems I am experiencing as a result of this, and now I am starting to see a physiologist too. I really love my job, and have received the highest performance rating for the past few years. My fear is that my new supervisors retaliation and harassment will lead to my termination.

What should I do

Re: Retaliation and Harassment

A: Hire an attorney quick, you need one to advise you how to document your retaliation case, and prevent you from inadverently doing it damage. This could have real value, so don't mess it up. Call if interested. 714-960-7584
