Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Being able to return to my profession

I was arrested for manufacturing in 2001, I did 112 days in jail now had a felony on my record and a record, also 2 yrs court probation. I have completed everything and now I am having alot of trouble finding a job with this felony on my record. How do I explain this to a potential employer, or how do I have this unavailable to the public so I can go back to work, and pass a backround check. Being a collector I have peoples information at hand who wants to have something like that available to a felon...Help, Help. Help.

Your felony can be reduced to misdemenor and then expunged. Are you done with your probation?

Expungement of your record is possible. If successful, you can say NO to questions of conviction on job application EXCEPT for such things as govt licensing, bonding, security clearances, etc. If interested in seeking expungement, contact me to discuss facts and fees.
