Steps to inact an alternative workweek

I would like to know the steps involed with moving my

employees from a 5 day 40 hour week to a 4 day 10

hour week. Does this require their argeement? Thank

Yes, it not only requires their agreement, their approval must be in the form of a secret ballot vote among the employees. This vote must follow a written disclosure of the affects of the new schedule as well as a meeting with the employees to allow them to ask questions.

This procedure is tightly regulated and must be followed to the letter for your alternative workweek to hold up to review.
