Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Hello, Seven times this year my employer has not paid us on time, and now they will not issue us w2 forms until the middle of february. Also they sent out emails stating that the did not "hold" our first paycheck so the will need to do that now, resulting in no pay for an entire month! They are a small company, but I am wondering if there is anything I can do about this?

Yes, you can complain to the California Labor Commissioner, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. They have an office in Santa Ana.

If you are not timely paid in full, you can file a complaint with the Labor Commissioner for unpaid amounts, penalties, interest, plus attorney fees if you win a contested matter.
