Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Can my transportation employer of 7 years, without any provocation, force me to take a sleep apnea exam, one that is not mandated by the D.O.T., by threatening with immediate termination if I refuse?

Force? No.

But they can terminate you any time for any reason, so it is your choice to comply or not. If you are in a union, you can seek their guidance.
