Unemployment Insurance Eligibility
I am a resident of California and I work for an Oklahoma Corp. I have not received my salary for the past 2 months.
Would I be eligible for Unemployment Benefits?

Re: Unemployment Insurance Eligibility
If you mean that you work in CA for the out of state company, then you should file a claim with the CA Labor Commissioner for unpaid compensation, interest and penalties. You could also file a claim for unemployment benefits, but would have to quit 'for cause' to do so. Your facts indicate you are still working for them, even though unpaid; if you quit, you probably would qualify, but there are no guarantees in life. If you wish to get legal help with either or both cases, feel free to contact me. You are entitled to also claim your attorney fees in the wage claim case, if you succeed.
