Unfair
If a person felt that an employer ''let go'' of them unfairly and now the employer has sent a memo to all the employees saying come to this meeting to find out why i ''let the person go'' without the person who was let go present...is that a form of harrassment? Is having that meeting about the former employee (without that person present) illegal and can action be taken against the former employer?

This sounds like a horrible situation. However, the law does not always protect you from this type of conduct. The employer has a right to inform their employees as to the reasons a person was let go, up to certain limitations. Of course, you have rights as well, including the right of privacy in certain information. However, without more detail as to what was said, I cannot advise as to if the information provided was in fact a violation of your rights.
