What do I do about unpayed wages?

I work for a general contractor, and he fired me........But he did not verbally/in writing do so, I have two Questions............1)what do I do about this?..........2)how do I get paid for accumilated wages($15.00a hour)?...........

Your question is a bit unclear - However, if you were fired, you should file a claim for unemployment benefits. If you were terminated, the employer must pay you all wages due you at the time of the termination. If you quit, the employer has 72 hours to pay you. Penalties will be available for late payments. It sounds like you need to clarify your status and determine whether you are still employed before taking any action.

file a claim with the Labor Commissioner for the unpaid wages and penalties.
