wiretapping/eavesdropping in the workplace

What are the local and state law surrounding wiretapping/eavesdropping in the workplace; specifically, in the banking industry? Can I take legal action against the company, if so, how do I proceeding with such an action?

Employers can 'eavesdrop/ and record telephone conversations, and may video the workplace, if notice is given or openly done. It is done all the time. If no notice, if it is done secretly, then you may have a claim of violation. IF so, contact an attorney.

The California Penal Code makes it illegal for anyone to record the private conversations of others without thier consent. You can call your local police and see what they have to say about this mattter.

However, the conversations that are wrongfully recorded need to be considered private.
