Legal Question in Employment Law in California

If you work for the same company for 11 years as full time worker and because you cannot work weekends or night can you be force to quit or change your status as a part time worker?

An employer sets and changes at will the hours, pay, duties, etc. You can always quit if you can't negotiate a satisfactory solution with them, but risk being denied unemployment benefits. You are an 'at will' employee that can be fired any time for any reason. Keep the employer happy with you.
