Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I work in fast food and the schedule varies weekly from aorund 2 to 4 days. I have not been put on the schedule in over a month and ahalf.. they state that they are training new employees and there is no room on the schedule for me. I have not been let go but I'm not working. can i file unemployment?
