Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Hi - I work full time at a retail location in CA and am paid by commission only. Some one told me my employer should have been paying me minimum wage on the months I made no income. This has been going on for 4 years now and am curious to know if this is true and what my rights are. I'm really not interested in making demands but it is very frustrating to hear I should have been paid for the hours I put in (typically 48 hrs per week)

You could file a claim for unpaid compensation, interest and penalties with the Labor Commissioner, if they agree you were/are entitled to minimum wage. If you want to have counsel represent you in this, feel free to contact me.
