Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I work in a hospital and when we get cancelled we are allowed to take pto I was cancelled 3 times during a 14 day biweekly pay period and worked 9 days one of the 9 days was my day off i was ask to come in. after receiving my check I notice I did not get paid for one of the pto days and I was told because i exceed 80hrs in a two week period. I thought the time would be paid at straight pay. (Are they are basically wanting me to change my time card to reflect an 80 hr biweek) Is that legal

I do not understand what you are asking. But it is not legal for an employer to ask you to change a time card to reflect less hours than actually worked. If you want to discuss this further, please call me at 805-886-4515, or email to [email protected].
