Re: at work

I am sorry to hear about your situation. The answer to your question, unfortunately, is not a simple yes or no. It depends on the offer for employment, was it in writing or not? The differences between you and the other hostest. If the employer pays you or not. The reaction by the employer to your request for payment and much more.

I do need a bit more information to help you assess your situation. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or at my office telephone number so I can more fully respond to your question.

Sincerely,

Beth Mora

Re: at work

Your situation is not an easy one. If your employment offer was in writing, it would be a matter of a written contract. If the offer was made orally, then it is a matter of he said, she said, and it would be difficult to prove your promise of $9.50 per hour. I'm sorry this happened to you. Your best bet may be to contact and make a complaint with the local Labor Commission.
