Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I work 7hrs a day with and hour lunch, no break. Do I have a leagal right to have a break?

You have a right to take a 10 minute rest break for every 4 hours worked.

If you can't resolve this with the employer, you can file a claim for penalties and unpaid compensation with the Labor Commissioner near you. If you are retaliated against in any way, that is illegal, and is grounds for a lawsuit. If that occurs, feel free to contact me.
