Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I work in a technical security position. I am the only female out of all men. I was hired in as a sr information security analyst with exempt status. 2 months later my position was demoted to a regular analyst position with non exempt status. I am the only non exempt employee in the group. I make 50% less than my coworkers and have been neglected when it came to career growth. Do I have a case for violation of the equal pay act and equal opportunity
