Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I worked for an auto dealership as a sales manager . They did not disclose on payroll hours worked nor did the salesman or myself get a lunch is this lagal in CA.

If you are not paid hourly, and are exempt from minimum wage and overtime, which you would be as a manager, hours worked are irrelevant and do not have to be recorded or reported. Not allowing a lunch break, however, is illegal.

If you are hourly, then those 'wage and hour' rules apply. Not if you are commissioned or salary exempt.
