Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I worked on-line for a company located at another state. After first 6 weeks of work I did not get paid and they terminated my employment. I believe that the reason of termination and non-payment was my pregnancy. Now I am demanding the payment for over a month, no result. They did not sigh a written agreement with me promising to do that all of these 6 weeks. I have numerous e-mails proving that I have worked for them, except amount of compensation $5000 that was agreed orally. What are my rights? What can I do to get my payment?

For your pay, you can file a claim with the local office of the CA Labor Commissioner. IF they dispute it and you are serious about hiring counsel to help you in the hearings and trial, contact me.

IF, you have any evidence to prove pregnancy discrimination, other than your speculation, then feel free to contact me to discuss.
