Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Workplace harassment (hostile work enviornment)

Having severe difficulties with my employer , especially the president of the company.

1.) Was given a written warning for workplace infraction & during meeting was told to stop acting like a ''cunt.''

2.) Asked not be talked to in a personal manner & was told ''I'm the boss, I can talk to you anyway I want.''

3.) In discussion of one said infraction concerning asking for compensation in writing -- president said ''if I would have asked him , he would have fired me.'' (prior to this compensation plan was changed Oct 13th & there have been at least 7 changes since)

3.) Was written up for questioning ''accountant'' for compensation plan in writing. This same person handles payroll, insurance forms & questions, W-2 & changes, requests for time off, sick days etc..

Other issues to discuss including salaried employee vs. commissionable /hours/time clocks, unfair standards of review for same sales positions... the list goes on.

The only thing you described that is potentially 'illegal' is the use of sexual crude words. IF you are a woman, it gives grounds for a sexual harassment claim. If you're a man, sorry. Contact me if you think you have a valid claim.
