Wrongful termination

Would it be wrongful termination since i was laidoff having a year with the company and 7 co workers doing the same job still on their 120 day probation period retain employment during cut backs

Not if you are an 'at will' employee, as are most people in the state, having no union or private written employment contract to determine your rights. You can be fired any time for any reason, other than for reasons of civil rights or whistleblower discrimination.
