Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Wrongful terminations and access amt.of paychk.
1) Employee gave $2000 extra on paycheque, I told Supv. why more given then it should.? -They replaced the cheque immediately.
2) Once again, they gave ck. for $30,000 and they had promotion of ''Win a Car'' if you are good Employee, I asked to Supv. again why more $ then, my reg. pay?
Supv. Said: Its your Bonus, and Enjoy.
Without looking at the payck.
And I deposited in Bank hoping its Winner for CAR Promotion.
3) 12 days went by.. received letter from for terminations of employment & return $30,000 immediately.
- Now, what to do?
- I told their lawyer to have my Job back and here is your $30K.
Their Lawyer said: NO
And they filed Police Complaint against me. !!
No 30 days notice, given to me, they never paid my one month of my Pay$.
Told me to deduct your pay and send us rest of money we paid by mistake immediately, otherwise, we will charge you 10% interest.
What to do? What are my Options?
This is 2nd. time they did.
I believe, my Supv. has been fired. Accountant has been fired as well, the one who issue the cheque.
Please Help....
