Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I believe I was wrongfully terminated. My former employer told me I was caught on video tampering with a display car at my employment location. When I ask to see the video they claimed it could not be found.

Wrongful termination is not just unfair termination. Unless you were fired on the basis of illegal discrimination, such as race or gender, retaliation for whistle blowing, or in violation of a union contract or civil service rules, there is no such thing as wrongful termination, no matter how unfair or morally wrong.
In general, unless an employee is civil service, in a union, or has a written employment contract, they are an 'at will' employee that can be disciplined or fired any time for any reason, with or without cause, explanation or notice. Apply for unemployment and look for a new job.
