Legal Question in Employment Law in California

after about three years at my job I finally got A rise. then after coming back from my weekend off my supervisor notified me of my hours being cutt so low I am making even less with the raise. Now can my hours be cutt so low after getting A raise that my pay is even lower with the raise?
