abandonment

I manage a mobile and RV park, A

tenant moved out leaving his RV on

a space. Can I move it off the space and place it in storage. It has been 2 months.

Hopefully you've been provided with copies of the Civil Codes which relate to operation of the Mobile Home Park and the RV park. On the mobile home side, you are required by law to distribute them once a year, so you should have been given copies by the park owner. If not, go to lawsource.com and you can drill down to the California Civil Code. You need to review sections 799.55 to 799.59 which allow you to have the vehicle removed after a 72 hour notice. They have to be in default in the space rent, however, to remove it. You may also lien the RV and any personal possessions pursuant to Civil Code 1861.
