Can I break a lease early with my landlord for home I am renting without having to pay rent for remainder of lease?

If you move out before the end of the lease you are responsible for the rent until the end of the lease term or until the landlord re-rents the unit. The landlord has an obligation to try his best to re-rent the unit but you are responsible for the rent until he does so or the lease term runs out.
