had to move out and stayed in motel for 6 months. landlord promised to pay but did not.

refuse to pay for mold clean-up.

had to hire somebody to do mold test. mold test showed high , very high number of mold pores.

paid people to move our belongings. landlord refuse to pay.

almost all my personal belongings and household furnitures gone.

now, landlord refuse to give security deposit back. we left property in great shape. cleaned.

except of course for a 33 year-old worn carpet and worn blinds.

Re: renter gotten really ill with mold in rented house

You have what is called a "constructive eviction".

You should have contacted an attorney months ago. Also, the landlord should have refunded your deposit within 21 days.

You should retain an attorney ASAP to write a letter to landlord, demanding damages, refund of deposit, other costs, etc.

Hire a lawyer now. Write, or e-mail my office, if you need more help from me.

Good luck!
