Rents

Hello does it matter if my property is illegal to rent and they have not payed my rent that was due on the 1 st of the month in ontario california?

It sounds like you are the landlord. If so, and you try to evict the tenant from an illegal unit, you are likely to get sued and/or lose the eviction. If you are renting an illegal unit, I must suggest that you immediately give the tenant notice to terminate their tenancy, and don't relet the unit until such time as it can be made legal.
