Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I "signed" a lease of an apartment online unknowingly. Signing the lease is just a click on a check box. I called the leasing company and the staff said it is a done deal. Is there anything I can do to protest?

Tell them it was done inadvertently. Do not pay any money. Do not take possession. If they sue, you defend yourself based on the error in clicking the "accept" button inadvertently.
