tenants file
can't I have copies of any and all document that a Landlord has with my name on it?

You have to give him notice, per the lease agreement that you have. You should tell him that you will store his stuff for a certain number of days, and that you will charge him for removing it, storing it, and for the attorney's fees incurred.
