Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
Hi there. I was given a thee day notice to pay rent or quit. I was given to me by my landlords, but the notice tells me to go pay at her attorney's office.
There are no hours of business or day of business listed on the notice, (just the attorney name address and phone number) and in the address it does not specify which house(there are 3 on the property) . Is this a valid notice?

Probably not, you must do everything exactly by the book and little technicalities like this often cause a case to be thrown out. However I would suggest that you try to resolve the issue before they have to file suit as it will cost you more money and emotional turmoil.
As I told someone else earlier if you want to stay, pay the rent. If you want to leave, work a deal out so you don't get a judgment against you.
Hope this helps and best of luck to you.
