unlawfully detainer lettter eviction

i have tenant,i did pay my rent

last

month due at fifth month ,charge

extra 25 dollars in top at 10

days of month i got letter 3 days

pay or quit after that on 18 this

month receiver letter unlafully

detainer

5 days to responde Santa monica

court

My questions

I ask property manager to workout

he say wants $ 1005 over 625

extra over my rent otherwise he

procedure now my question is

should respond letter by court or

workout w landlord

i got at 18 of month on tuesday

5 days business day or saturday

or sunday account my already up

today 21 friday

what kind form should i take?

It is really difficult to put your facts together, and make sense out of them.

Please e-mail my office, or call, tomorrow with a clearer explanation of your problem.

I think you are trying to tell me you were served with an unlawful detainer on September 18, If this is true, you have five days beginning on the on the 19th to answer, or you will lose, and be evicted within a few days after that. That means the fifth day is Monday, the 23rd and you need to file the answer before 4 P.M., which is usually when the court stop accepting documents.

If this is what I think it is, do not ignore this, or you will be removed by the sheriff shortly after the 23rd.

Now you even have me confused. The 23rd is Sunday, and since the courts are not open on the 5th day, you have to file your answer before 4 P.M. on Monday, the 24th.
